Squad 2 Special Teams And Resources (STAR) is the third operations division encompassing the EMS Bike Team, Mass Casualty Response Team, and the Rehab/HAZ-TAC Group.  These speciality teams are comprised of experienced EMTs who also have varying backgrounds in nursing, rescue, hazardous materials, firefighting and CBRNE response and who support multiple special needs incidents.

Teams are organized by speciality with advanced training in these areas and are supervised by a Team Manager, who in turn reports to the Special Services Chief.  The MCRT and HAZ-TAC teams also support the New Jersey EMS Task Force as a Task Force agency.
